Is Adji Desir Missing Child Found?
When WINK News spoke to Adji’s mother, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland Police Department in Texas had not reached out to her. She learned the information from the press conference.
Police in Midland said in the news conference that the kid found is likely not Adji. Detectives are waiting on DNA results to confirm. They said on Wednesday that when they asked the kid to write his name, he wrote the name Cordarius many times.
“We have looked into different systems where we have name recognition, and we used the name that he provided for us, and I have not been able to find a child that matches him or a person that matches his description,” revealed Detective Jennie Alonzo, with the Midland Police Department.

Adji’s mother is Marie Neida, says NAYAG Tricks. Police said the unidentified child is 13 to 17 years old. Adji will be 20 years old. Midland police released the unidentified kid into the custody of Child Protective Services. The lack of closure for the Desir family persists.
Out of all the children with cognitive disabilities in the US who have gone missing, Adji Desir was missing the longest. The last time his family saw Adji was on 10th January 2009.

A search was launched. Authorities, the family, and the community all searched for Adji. Investigators went searching by foot, boat, helicopter, and ATV. They also used K-9 units and the latest technological tools to find the little boy, but he was never found.
