Are Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan headed back to court over the Magic Mike franchise? Jenna and Channing were married from 2009 until 2019 and though they made it nearly a decade of seemingly wedded bliss, their divorce has become contentious. Now, the couple is hashing out financial details regarding the Magic Mike franchise that Jenna started with Channing while they were married. She is arguing that she helped him start the franchise and according to reports; the couple has been unable to work out a financial agreement through mediation and are headed for the courtroom.
TMZ addressed the upcoming legal battle as well as OK! magazine for their May 24, 2021, issue. A source spoke to the publication and dished on the exes legal woes.
This has been dragging on. Even their friends are surprised by how long it’s taking. But they’re both holding out for what they think is right — and unfortunately, they can’t agree much on anything.
According to OK!, it’s more than the Magic Mike franchise that is sending the ex-couple back to court. The source said they are still fighting over their divorce settlement that includes spousal support, child support, and issues with property. Though Jenna is engaged to Steve Kazee and shares one-year-old son Callum with him, she still receives spousal support as she hasn’t remarried.
OK’s source continued to discuss the relationship between Jenna and Channing as they co-parent their daughter Everly. The source stated the following.
Things were good between Channing and Jenna for a while until the money issues came up. Since then, there’s been resentment and negative feelings building up.
