Jason Benedict Obituary, Death Cause – Jason James Benedict (50), of Saint Louis, Missouri, was fortified by the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, and he passed away on October 24, 2023, after battling scleroderma for two years. He had been a member of the church for 50 years. The family of Linda and Forest Benedict welcomed their son Jason into the world on March 28, 1973 in the city of Ames, Iowa. He was a talented athlete who guided the Rockbridge High School tennis and basketball teams to victories thanks to his leadership.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia, Jason decided to seek more education and ultimately earned his master’s in business administration from Louisiana State University. Cooper, Andrew, Ryan, and Janie, in addition to Jason’s dedicated wife Carolyn (née Klapp) and their four children, are among those who will carry on after his passing.
In addition, his parents Linda and Forest Benedict, as well as his younger brother Dirk, all managed to outlive him. His niece and nephews, Olivia, George, Augie, Carson, and Rory, together with his brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Jan Klapp, Kathy and Chad Tsitovich, and Kevin and Molly Klapp, will miss him tremendously. Before pursuing his desire of being a real estate developer, he was successful in many company ventures in the disciplines of design, workforce management, and digital advertising.
