The owner of the home where the assailant parked, Greg Higa, uploaded the footage online and expressed revulsion and shock when speaking to KTLA 5 about the incident.
‘It feels really random … this is a safe neighborhood and we’re all just absolutely horrified that something could happen here to someone doing something so innocent like walking their child,’ Higa told the outlet.
Mary Steele said the victim, who she did not identify, is a ‘very nice community member’ and was left perplexed by why he was attacked.
‘He has a beautiful home, people know who he is and the baby is an innocent victim,’ she added.
The attacker is yet to be identified and was seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, jeans and a backward-facing baseball hat.
Los Angeles Police investigators took a report but no further information has been released about the incident, KTLA 5 reported.
