She is currently shooting the new series with on-screen lover Suranne Jones, who was also on set.

Sophie, 33, who plays Ann Walker opposite Suranne’s Anne Lister, was seen in a light blue gown, typical of the 1830s.

The floor-length number was tied at the waist with a black belt and featured heavy shoulder detailing.

She added a pearl necklace, matching earrings, and wore her mane in curls.

She sported a pale make-up tone with rouge on her cheeks. In later scenes, she added an elaborate hat with feather detailing.

Matt arrived looking casual, keeping a face mask over his mouth and nose, as per COVID-19 restrictions on set.

He wore a light blue shirt and navy shorts and a baseball cap, brandishing their child’s baby seat.

He was seen handing their tot over to his mother, who is presumably still nursing him.

Sophie also stars in Peaky Blinders – and was on set just four weeks after welcoming her child.

The series is set in Yorkshire in 1834 and is based on the real life diaries of English landowner and diarist Lister.

The first series saw the couple torn apart when Ann was taken to Scotland, under threat of being married off by her brother-in-law.

But by the finale, the pair came back together when the philanthropist was called back to Yorkshire to visit her bedridden aunt.

Their reunion took place in a dramatic hilltop moment when Ann revealed she was finally ready to marry Anne.

Suranne often uses her platform to promote LGBT+ equality, so much so that the star was awarded The British LGBT Awards’ Celebrity Ally prize during November’s ceremony.
